Dash-8 aircraft codes

Hi from up North.

Noticed that in your list of aircraft types and descritions the Dash-8 codes don’t deferentiate the models as you have done with other aircraft types.

To clarify,

DH8A = De Havilland Canada Dash 8-100
DH8B = De Havilland Canada Dash 8-200 (more powerful engines than the 100)
DH8C = De Havilland Canada Dash 8-300 (slightly longer cabin)
DH8D = De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 or “Q400” (much larger aircraft with huge engines and props)

My point being is there is quite a large difference in all the models but in your list they simply describe them as “De Havilland Canada Dash 8”. Can this be updated to appease us Canadians?

Cheers!

I thought they were like that; they are now.

Should we change the manufacturer to Bombardier too? :slight_smile:

Don’t you dare! :laughing:

…our aviation heritage gets further and further away with every aerospace corporate merger. LOL!

^ Which is why Bombardier should sell Learjet to someone who knows how to build these…

:laughing: :unamused:
