I have been listening to my scanner all morning monitoring aviation frequencies and happened to hear DAL531 come over the radio on frequency 129.550.
It seems that there is a 62 Year Old Woman with diabetes on the aircraft that was going in and out of consciousness. The pilot said there were 2 doctors on board checking her and her blood pressure was 110/60, a pulse of 89, respiration was 20, and blood sugar was 259. She seems to currently be conscious but said she was feeling horrible.
The doctors advised to divert on the flight from Atlanta to Cancun. The pilot is requesting to divert to New Orleans. Interesting to listen to it all take place. I will post if I hear anymore information.
