Changes in Flight Paths


A neighbor pointed me to this article: discussing changes in flight paths promulgated by the FAA. This was after a discussion about changes in flight paths over Austin. I contend that in Austin the main issue is increased overall traffic (other than the change in airport location some years ago). Does anyone have a different opinion, or can you share some data?

It’d be interesting to see a graphical heat map or something comparing before/after traffic patterns with respect to this pattern change, or just in general.
