It came to my attention that Rwanda Air WB711, scheduled departure 2120, on Sunday 14th April 2024 was cancelled. From hearsay it was because of a bird strike presumably on its approach to Heathrow that morning (WB710) or on route. The flight was cancelled at check in time ±1715 presumably because the repairs not complete. Strangely I am told it flew that evening. Back to Kigali? Would this be to have it place for its next flight assignment? I find no evidence that it flew but if there were no passengers could it have flown with no monitoring? If anyone has more information about this event I would be interested as I am a novice in this business.
