Just found this on CNN when I checked on the FX crash.
Looks like the NTSB will have their hands full this week.
False report now being reported: Emergency crews have called off the search in Texas for a C-17 transport plane.
Initial Air Force reports of a crash were incorrect, an Air Force spokesman told CNN affiliates.

Don’t believe the NTSB would investigate a military crash.
The NTSB will participate if invited or if a civil aircraft is involved with a military aircraft.
