It wasn’t too long ago that members of Congress often mistook corporate aircraft for the Congressional Airline. “Hitching” a ride on corporate jets was such a regular event, and so abused a privilege, that eventually the solons had to stop themselves.
So Ricky and the others are driving their hybrids to DC. That’s a great use of their time. Even though they’re all working for $.0005 per hour now, that is a ridiculous situation they have allowed themselves to be put in by a bigger group of clowns (Congress). They should be fired for being so gutless and stupid. Ricky is driving a Malibu Hybrid and plans to get some work done using the Onstar phone system. What? The Chairman of GM has Onstar in his car? The Audacity! Then he’s going to roll up to the hill in Volt prototype. What did that cost to ship out to DC? Probably hauled out there in a carbonated semi truck. How many more Dinosaurs have to die for our sins?
