BAW 95 Diverted to CYQB

With CYUL only half an hour away from CYQB why was this flight from EGLL diverted? Was is the weather conditions?

It could have been weather at YUL or it could have been that the aircraft encountered stronger than expected winds and needed to land due to low fuel.

It was on the ground for a little more than an hour. It could have been refueled in that time.

Another possibility is a medical emergency.

I thought maybe BA had combined two flights but that thought was quickly dismissed when I checked to see if BA served YQB (it doesn’t).

Thanks for the reply.

It must have been a refueling stop due to the strong winds. A medical emergency would’ve made the headline I assume.

I just remembered that Canada has a web page called Civil Aviation Daily Occurrence Reporting System. You may wish to check this site on Monday (evidently they don’t update it on weekends).

Uh, try tomorrow (Tuesday). It seems them Canadian decided to have a holiday today (Victoria Day) and the CADORS report hasn’t bee updated.

Thanks for the link, very interesting. I also checked avherald.com.

Yes, we’ve decided to take a national holiday in return for all the taxes that are going to her Royal Maje$ty.

Will check CADOR tomorrow.

That’s what you get for not spaying or neutering them!
