BA flight 212 is the actual flight number from BOS to LHR. Any idea why it identifies as (Speedbird) 45B and not 212? 45B also appears next to 212 in Flightradar24.

A lot of airlines do that from time to time,it is some sort of internal company coding.

But what is 45B? Just a random number? It wasn’t even a part of the a/c registration.
