Is there a Piaware setting I can change to make all maps dark? I like the dark Carto maps for Skyaware traffic and they look especially nice on my big TV in the den. However, all are now watermarked. I played around with dark mode setings in the Brave browser (on an older Mac mini) and was able to get the plane listing dark but not the map itself.

I am seeing the same API key message today. Other base maps do not give this message. No solution yet.
The API Key is now required by carto for access to the map. It looks like Flightaware will need to request the key and implement it in its base map required. I requested the API to get rid of this, it’s free, but requires editing of some settings on the PI. I asked several LLMs, they helped me through the process and it eventually worked. You have to insert your free API they sent you in very specific places. If you need more details, let me know, we all run different setups.
