Hello,
I’m Peter from the netherlands and i won last month a price at a radiostation to fly to the u.s.a to visit a concert of KISS in Houston on the 5th of december 09, my favourite band.
Now i’m making a story of this awesome trip.
It was a big party for me, because i never fly before! So we left amsterdam with NWA flightnr 0257 on the 4th of dec. to memphis
I allready got the info of this plane from the dutchplanespotters.nl
But they can’t help me with the plane reg.nr of the plane what fly us from memphis to houston.
The costumer care of NWA only gave me the kl4313 number
This is what i know;
Chances are, you aren’t going to be able to find the tail number this far after the flight, but I’m not the expert on that. This is where Dami steps in. Where are you Dami??
The flight number makes me believe that it was operated by Pinnacle Airlines (9E) so you will be able to look that up when it comes out on bts.gov which is probably a month from now since they just came out with Nov. 09
Added Note: It will be Pinnacle Airlines Flight 3813.
In other words, the data on bts.gov has data from 3 months ago for domestic flights. There is also a table that shows both domestic and international flights. That table shows data from 6 months ago.
I always wonder why people who like to log the A/C registration number for their trips don’t just write it down as they are boarding. By regulation the air worthiness certificate has to be visible.
FAR 91.203b states that the airworthiness certificate must be posted at either the cabin or cockpit entrance.
(b) No person may operate a civil aircraft unless the airworthiness certificate required by paragraph (a) of this section or a special flight authorization issued under 91.715 is displayed at the cabin or cockpit entrance so that it is legible to passengers or crew.
So if you don’t see it on the cockpit door look above the entrance door. Of course, as I mentioned, Southwest also has the registration in big characters immediately to the right as you enter the aircraft.
