Aircraft Symbol Bell 205 on Map

I have noticed that the symbol that come up for N107BZ is a fixed wing GA Aircraft. This is a Bell 205 which should have the helicopter logo. How do I change this to the proper icon? Is it something FlightAware has to code or is it due to the ADS-B or Transponder on the aircraft? Thank You.

This is a common issue with the ADS-B transponder. Helicopters are often incorrectly configured as “light aircraft” instead of “rotor-craft.” N107BZ is an example.

Yes it’s an incorrectly configured transponder.
