Aircraft search brings flight numbers

Hi,

For the past few weeks I’ve been very annoyed with the search feature.
For example, when I type N221FR - I’m trying to find out where that plane is going right now, and where it will go in the next day or two.
Instead I’m getting random Frontier route
FFT721 / N230FR · “Frontier Flight” (all flights) (website)

I didn’t search for N230FR, I’ve searched for N221FR.

Same thing for N13720, when I search for it I’m getting bunch of flights from EWR to Princess Juliana by another aircraft.

I see that in the search first option comes up with Wells Fargo etc. etc. and the second option comes up with flight number followed by registration of my search. However, if I don’t select the first option, I’m automatically getting unrelated info.
If I would search for flight number like UAL123 that would be fine, but I’m searching for particular aircraft.
Please fix that. Its very annoying.

Thank you,
Rafal

Rafal, thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I’ve applied a fix to address this issue. When you search by registration, you should now be presented with the flight associated with that registration that is currently in the air, or the next scheduled flight (if there is one). This fix is slated to reach production tomorrow evening (at Central Standard Time).

Please let me know if everything looks good on your end (in about 24 hours).

rijulraju thank you very much! It will be much easier to search for the missing frames (at least for us photographers)

You can also do this in the mean time, click on a photo of N221FR, scroll down and you can see the future flights for that N#
