Not sure who requests these reports from the NWS (NTSB or FAA) but when an accident happens, reports are posted at weather.gov/view/validProds.php?prod=OAV for weather conditions during the time frame of the accident including forecasts.
Reports are listed by state, not sure how long they stay on the web since I only see June 22nd reports.
Some of the reports even go as far as to show if the pilot got a preflight briefing.
