Is Air Force One (whatever aircraft happens to be designated as such) tracked and viewable on FlightAware…?
…my guess is that it does not show…I’ve never tried…
No, for the obvious reasons.
…thanks…that’s what I assumed…
(…pertinent data about such flights are published though, so it’s not kept “completely” secret…)
…I was also wondering if flightradar24 would show aircraft, but I guess it’s the same…(“no show”)
Just curious. There have been a number of posts reporting sightings from piaware stations for the VC-25. Are these filtered out from the overall FA displays? Are they visible to enterprise users? It hasn’t come into Sacramento when my systems have been up so I can’t tell from here.
…anyway…obama left yesterday (LA) and this time, he got so see “bad weather” for a change. He has happened to visit at earlier times when the weather has been exceptionally fine (and I got the picts to prove that)…but not this time – plane rushed off into the skies during low and not so low clouds…very grey weather.
Anyway – I was checking flightradar24 during his flight from Chicago, just to see if it would be possible to “see” the location of plane, “by inference” – that is, a kind of “empty bubble” surrounding the plane, since everybody talks about how no planes are allowed to be close, etc…well, I was not able to detect any such “bubble”.
On a final note, he arrived exactly on time (as publicly published). The “rule” for obama has been that he is late more often that on time or early…
He left pretty much on time as well…
I bet it won’t be long before he is back, since there’s money in “them thar hills”
