I just finished a multi-day, multi western state ccx. flights on day one and two showed up on flight aware with the usual blank spots due to terrain. But on day three after flying all day at all kinds of altitudes, and various terrain, there was absolutely nothing on Flight aware. On day four FlightAware only finally showed up once I asked Center for a squawk code. Then, even after I canceled and started squawking 1200 again, I was still showing up on Flight aware. After I landed, I requested an FAA ADSB performance report and it came back perfect for the entire flight on day four. So, because of that report, I know my ADSB is working fine, but I do not understand why I wasn’t showing up on Flight aware until I was given a code by ATC. I’ve never had this happen before. I always show up on Flight aware at least for part of the flight. I have Uavionix echo UAT.
Anyone anyone have any insight on this issue?
