Came home on HAL 30 last night and the captain made an announcement prior to descent that he welcomes everyone back and that this route starting in December will be operated with a larger aircraft?
I looked at fly.hawaiianairlines.com on their Flight Finder and it still shows HA using the 767 on the route in December. Maybe Hawaiian hasn’t updated their schedules.
The flight finder only offers flights a couple days in the future, at most.
FlightAware is a good site for tracking flights but, come on! If you want to find out what an airline plans on doing in the future taking a little initiative and go to the airline’s web site, Kayak (or another travel site) or do a Google search!!! This site is for current and very-near-future (1 or 2 days) flights. It’s not a site for finding out what airlines are going to do months away.
This is happening this week (1st week of Dec.) It will be an A330 from SEA to HNL and OGG. Not seasonal, this is a long-term year-round change.
