A real Downer!

Just checked the Certificated airman database and my name not there
for the 1st time since 1953. I almost cried!
God! I miss it!

Awwā€¦ Didnā€™t even qualify for a 3rd class?

LSA can keep folks in the air.Are you eligable or did you lose your medical?

You can always rent a plane and CFI and go enjoy the experience of flight anytime.

I did not ā€œlose my medicalā€, Just didnā€™t try after after an ICD was put in my chest. I still get to fly right seat with friends. I am looking for a cub, champ, or a ragwing luscombe that qualify as an LSA. Back to my roots!

ImageShack - Best place for all of your image hosting and image sharing needs I often threaten J or his wife that Iā€™ll use one of them to get current. But when I really think about it I realize that Iā€™d be better off getting an LSA ticket for the type of flying Iā€™d want to do.

Time to get a Mermaid:

J wants an Icon A5:

Although given the LSA weight limits itā€™s a case of carrying two normal people or one of me!

Wingā€¦good to hear you didnā€™t lose the medical. There sure are alot of LSA planes available. If you want new, check out the Legend Cub and the Silvaire Luscombe. Both have caught my eyeā€¦Herman.

Check out the Cub Crafters - Sport Cub. http://www.cubcrafters.com/news_item.aspx?id=137

Depends on the type of flying you want to do. I think my favorite is the Remos.
