My point of view is for receiving only antenna spacing should not matter. My antennas are spaced about 24 inches apart.

My 1090 and 978 antennas are only 2.4 inches apart, 1/10th of yours

• Left one 978 Mhz, 76mm whip (steel tie wire)
• Right one 1090 Mhz, 67mm whip (original whip cut to size)
