978 UAT vs 1090 - two sticks, two Pi's

I’ve had the blue Pro stick Plus running with a Pi for awhile. Saw the sale and without much research picked up the orange dongle (as the kit, on memorial day sale) - and immediately set it up. Now (oops) I’m doing my research - and maybe I was premature on this.

I’ve got the separate 978 antenna, but by default it looks like the new one is running 1090 AND 978, do I need to disable the 1090 in the advanced settings (PiAware - Advanced Configuration Settings - FlightAware)?

Notably on my stats page, both feeders show up, and both show up as “Feeder Mode: Mode-S (1090 MHz)” - which wasnt really the point (for feeders at the same install point)

Thanks for anyones help!!

For a 978-only install, you’ll need to set:

receiver-type none
uat-receiver-type sdr

in piaware-config.txt

(“receiver-type” controls the 1090 receiver, “uat-receiver-type” controls the 978 receiver)
