Why do flight paths start and end of the runway?

It depends on the availability of a feeder that can look lower then the treeline.

For instance, I live near EHAM and I start picking up aircraft at 100 ft on takeoff and until 100 ft on decent.
Some airports don’t have feeders installed locally so that’s why you don’t see them all the way down.

Other cause might be the time the transponders are enabled by the aircraft depending on the type of aircraft

i can see aircraft taxing on the ground and pulling in to the FBO at my local airport but that’s only on my local feed. FA doesn’t show airport ground traffic (FR24 does) once the data is uploaded to the FA site. i am certainly uploading the data to FA (unless they filter “ground” data from their feeders) but choose not to show on their main site. i have never seen data for airport ground traffic at any airports on the FA site. of course i spend a lot of time being wrong, so anyone that has other information on this please update me.

Because one end of the runway is different than the other.

Airborne, until reported otherwise.
