On the table/graph for Positions Reported there are 3 sections ADS-b, MLAT and Other - What is “other”?
The reason for asking, I have just changed over from a Windows/VRS feed to a RPi/piaware feed and the “other” reports have increased by around a factor of 3 (from around 20,000 to 60,000 per day) - is this good or bad?
The ADS-B reports have also increased by around 15-20%

This is in the ADSB FAQ and and we have more information in the Sept 2017 newsletter

The “Other” field is most likely Mode-S transponders. Mode-S transponders were before GPS and are missing the latitude and longitude fields.
