I just purchased an airplane which was blocked by the previous owner. How do I get the airplane unblocked?
The blocked aircraft list is maintained by NBAA’s BARR Program. You can contact them to have the tail number removed from the list, although it may take a while to take effect. If your need is more immediate, or if you desire more flexibility, FlightAware offers selective unblocking services which would allow you and/or other accounts you designate to view your flight operations while remaining blocked to the general public.
