UAL923 diverted to Boston

Diverted due to a female having lube, a morning cocktail typically made with OJ and Vodka, and love letters to the Middle East.

Yup, sounds like a disturbed passenger to me…

foxnews.com/story/0,2933,208669,00.html

Plane currently sitting at the 15R end of 15R/33L, with bags laid out being gone through with dogs. What a mess, and what a moron.

Who, exactly is the moron ? Woman had none of the items listed, just some kind of panic attack/claustraphobia. All over the news, now.

If she had a panic attack large enough to divert a transatlantic flight, then she has bigger issues and shouldn’t have been on that plane in the first place.

I gave up editing my original post after 5 changes in the story. So even though the main part is wrong, it sounds better than “diverted when woman mistakes 777 for MRI tube”.

United’s Web site flight status indicates “Schedule change due to Customer Service”

I think it was a 763. That would be a little tighter than a T7. No biggie.

Eh. I didn’t look at the aircraft type. I just took a wild stab at it.

Maybe she saw…wait for it…SNAKES ON THE PLANE!

Sorry, I had to.

Turns out it was a little more than panic attack/claustrophobia:

A woman on a trans-Atlantic flight diverted to Boston for security concerns passed several notes to crew members, urinated on the cabin floor and made comments the crew believed were references to al-Qaida and the Sept. 11 attacks, according to an affidavit filed Thursday.

Seems like a full blown crazy woman to me.

Aren’t they all???

That one was just TOO easy!

Was going to say it sounds like an ex-girlfriend of mine. (Emphasis on the EX - very high emphasis on that prefix!)

They should have followed Andy’s advice:

You should keep your hoe on a leash.
