Is it possible to track using Transponder Codes if you know what the specific assigned code will be? My father in-law has a Malibu based out of RVS and does a lot of flying and rarely files IFR. He gets a kick out of us being able to track him (plus makes my mother in-law a little less worried when he flies lond distances).
No, you can’t track using transponder codes, but if you put in his tail number you may be able to see him on the map if he has VFR flight following and the controller pushes the right buttons.
