tracklog question

flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS1 … D/tracklog

i was wonderin why the altitude went from =
12:26AM 42.27 -88.33 377 14100
12:27AM 42.25 -88.47 366 11200 <----
12:28AM 42.23 -88.58 356 32000 <-----
12:29AM 42.23 -88.68 314 9100 <-----
12:30AM 42.22 -88.78 282 6900

at 1227 from 11300 in a decent , back up to 32000 in one minute when it was suppose to be decending, then a minute after that its at 9100 feet… do you think this is a typo, or had to do a quick menuver in alt?

Just a glitch in the ATC computer reporting…it happens fairly often.

If radar data is missing ( lost ) for a given period then it is usually replaced by the proposed / assisned altitude filed in flight plan.

As azav8r said, it is the result of a glitch and seen fairly frequently.
