On my status page, when I scroll down at “nearby sites” I see the first column labeled “flights”.
Well, that number goes up to 2000+ and then now is down again, at 1,877 - number of flights from 2 days ago.
Why?
Another newbie who’s clueless as well. I hit 2k planes on a day to see it drop to 500 an hour later on the same day.
Educated guess: it’s the average over the days since the start / past 30 days. That would explain why long time users don’t have excessive numbers and why newbies are hurt the most as they usually have low numbers in the first days.
