Skywest???

Right you are!
However, SkyWest does not fly in and out of Atlanta.

Uh, excuse me. The proper termonology for this “Atlanta” place is “The ATL” Please turn to page 156 of your english to ebonics dictionary…

Point taken.

It was also brought to my attention that Skywest recently acquired ASA from the parent company (DAL) during their recent bankruptcy filings. For now they are being operated as two seperate companies, but I think in the future their operations will be combined. In which case, I believe skywest will add ATRs and ERJs to their fleet list. Anyone out there work for ASA and can comment on this acquisition?

So there ARE (in effect) Skywest flights in/out of KATL.

No. Skywest, Inc., the holding company, has two subsidiaries now - Skywest and ASA. They will be operated as two separate companies. Take a look at the acquistion FAQs.

Skywest bought ASA in September '05.
Buddy of mine flies for ASA, the union just recently approved a strike, but they’re hoping it won’t come to that.

There are Skywest Inc. flights in/out of KATL (ASA). C’mon, dami!! Let me have my moment of…rightness.

Okay… but don’t let it happen again!
