Hi there. I am trying to view this

Web Interface: View live 978 data (requires local network connection).
It tries to connect locally to my IP address but gives 404 URL not found.
Yet my Web Interface: [View live data ] (requires local network connection) connects to my local IP address on port 8080 and works.

How do I make the 978 data local web interface work? Must I install a skyware978.deb package?

yes; the web interface for dump978 is packaged separately to the demodulator.

What is your system? How have you installed dump978?

For a Pi-based system, follow the instructions at PiAware - dump1090 ADS-B integration with FlightAware - FlightAware for a package-based install.

The dump978-fa package lists skyaware978 as a recommended package, so you should be prompted to install it automatically. If you said no to that, you can later install manually via sudo apt install skyaware978

Thanks very much obj. All I needed to do was to “sudo apt install skyware978” . That resolved the issue.
