Should Virgin America fly to Atlanta?

Yes, I know Southwest recently began operating here. And there’s AirTran. I’m just curious.

Keep in mind that Southwest now owns AirTran and they are operating under a single air carrier certificate. AirTran will gradually fade away as they are fully integrated into Southwest.

As of August 12th, Allentown, Pa.; Lexington, Ky.; Harrisburg, Pa.; Huntsville, Ala.; Sarasota, Fla.; and White Plains, N.Y., will all lose their AirTran service.

True. I was mainly thinking about the next few months or so. Sorry, should have clarified.

They will probably eventually add two or so flights a day to each LAX and SFO, but will never have a major presence there.
