Renaming SXF to BER

With the new winter schedule (started today) the airport SXF does not exist any longer, it’s renamed to BER.

FA should change this too on his maps

Thanks for the note. Our internal systems are updated. You may still see some old references due to data caching on the web interface but this will go away as caches expire.

Is it actually finally open now?

It opens officially on Saturday with the first flights.
However they changed the code with the winter flight schedule active since Sunday 00:00
The current Berlin Schönefeld airport has been already renamed to BER, Terminal 5

I can see now “BER” on the map

The two “opening” flights are organizing themselves for parallel touchdown
