How is the monthly ranking determined? Any one category or just overall?

Welcome to the forum Larry.
That has always been a wee bit of a mystery to me too, I browse out of curiosity but generally view the messages and aircraft spots to see how things are going. There are various add on scripts that can extract and display data as you get more in to it.
