Still, absolutely zero news on this – avherald or otherwise. must be at least 5k pounds of fuel vapor somewhere near Catalina and into the lower stratosphere. and maybe 250 pax involved.

More like 15k pounds, I’ve dumped 5k from a little ol-Lear to get back on the ground before and if it was a passport issue they’d have kept going and had the consulate rep waiting.
