Piaware run not well

FlightAware ADS-B Flight Tracking

I have a RPi 2 with Piaware 3.6.3 installed, FlightAware Pro Stick SDR, a good DIY antenna and LAN connection.
In my new site (92476), tree green light, but y have no positions report and this problems:

[2018-12-01 09:23 -03] dump1090 start appears to have been successful
[2018-12-01 09:23 -03] no ADS-B data program is serving on port 30005, not starting multilateration client yet
[2018-12-01 09:23 -03] no ADS-B data program seen listening on port 30005 for 10 seconds, next check in 60s

I restart my system a couple of times, but nothing…
Any suggestions?

how did you install it?

in case you are connected with ssh:

sudo systemctl dump1090-fa restart
sudo journalctl -u dump1090-fa -e --no-pager -n100

And post the output.

First command line:
sudo systemctl dump1090-fa restart
Unknow operation dump1090-fa

Second line:
sudo journalctl -u dump1090-fa -e --no-pager -n100
a loooooooooong list, say "rtlsdr no supported devices found… :frowning:

That basically means the dongle is not working.

Is it connected directly to the pi?

I’m gonna ask you again which sd-card image are you using?

also run

sudo rtl_test

Copy pasting the output would be helpful.
If you are using Putty marking it should be enough. Then use CTRL-V to paste it here.

(Oh the first command was wrong in needs to be “sudo systemctl restart dump1090-fa” but it doesn’t matter)

If you don’t use ssh/putty then copy paste can’t work of course :wink:

Also try another usb port for the dongle.
And another power supply if you can, that’s always good to try.
(including another cable from power supply to pi)

Do this.
The dongle will power-up with a low supply voltage, but not receive anything.
