Dump failure on pi5 tried several times no luck
nvme 265 latest raspberrypi then used sites piaware 10.2 and there folling installs
it don’t like dump install
infact now dump is there but not in folder huhhh?
i set up my first pi5 setup with no bother but 2nd system causing problems
(1) Are OS on previous RPi 5 and current RPi5 identical?
(2) What are outputs of following commands?
pgrep -l dump1090
sudo journalctl -u dump1090-fa -n15
1 not sure memory has gotten worse since we last talked
pgrep -l dump1090 nothing took it out hour ago
sudo journalctl -u dump1090-fa -n15 – No entries –
all clean now
it dont seem to like piaware installs dump etc
now running dump1090-fa dev with tar1090 but get message below
Problem fetching data from the server:
Seems the decoder / receiver / backend isn’t working correctly!
First ninstall dump1090-fa dev and tar1090.
Next build & install fump1090-fa from source code by running following script
sudo bash -c "$(wget -O - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/abcd567a/piaware-ubuntu-debian-amd64/master/install-dump1090-fa.sh)"
NOTE
The script will first install necessary build-tools and dependency packages, then start building & installing dump1090-fa. Please be patient and let the script take time to complete.
still no difference, i will reinstall new raspberry piaware and dump dev and tar dev then script link

Ive altered my old pi5 setup instead of new pi5
so both same problem now
i need to stay up and redo both now
any advise before i start he he
I have now reinstalled both pi5 with readsb and can now relax 6am tired
i dont know why they both went wrong poss me caused the messup
just glad its sorted now
