Need list of aircraft types

How can I get a list of all the aircraft types from the FlightAware database? Is there an API call to fetch all of these, or is there a list published somewhere?

faa.gov/air_traffic/publications/ - look for publication JO 7340.2B contractions. It can be downloaded as a PDF or viewed as HTML

I need something that maps to the FlightAware aircraft types to map to my FlightXML responses.

FlightAware uses the aircraft type codes published in JO 7340.2B.
