MPH over 1000, can this be correct?

I’m watching a flight from LA to Charlotte, and I see this:
EDT Latitude Longitude Course Direction KTS MPH feet Rate Location/Type
Fri 02:56:07 PM 33.6474 -116.8189 92° East 938 1079 23,500 638 FlightAware ADS-B (KLGB)

There are also a few other entries that look crazy, with MPH showing 861 (still climbing) and 893 while cruising at 33,000 ft.

Can someone explain this? Thanks…

You are seeing ground speed which is airspeed plus or minus the wind.

I’ve seen similar reports. AAL climbing out doing 954 mph. I don’t think so. Even with a jet stream tailwind.
