I am interviewing for a job, just curious to know what a King Air 200 Chief could expect. Would like to have my ducks in a row, too bad I tossed my pro pilot mag, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
Entering “king air” salaries into Google got me:
Salary Survey Report for Aircraft Type Rating: Raytheon Beechcraft King Air 200
Conklin has a Captain Salary listed at $56,000/yr plus benefits (and I would concur that is reasonable in the mid-west). Of course, $56K isn’t the same in all parts of the country. Also, as a Chief Pilot you are obviously doing more than just flying the plane as a Captain qualified pilot. Only you know what your time is worth performing those extra duties that equal that of a Chief Pilot. In the end it will all come down to what they think you are worth for those extra duties, and what you think – the middle ground is what should be sought.
Good Luck!

Hey, thanks very much James! Sorry it took me so long to reply – been having some issues with the discussion board lately.
Take care,
