Hawaiian 8002?

Hello all, Hawaiian had a flight 12/3 LAX to HNL flight #8002, I track HAL alot and I have never seen a 4 digit flight #, anybody know why?

My guess is a repositioning/deadhead flight of some kind. I don’t know if Hawaiian does military charters or not, but that might be another possibility.
