I am currently working on a project that involves analyzing the fuel consumption of various flights, and I am interested in knowing if FlightAware offers any API that provides data specifically related to flight fuel consumption.
Could you please let me know if there is an existing API endpoint or service that offers detailed fuel consumption data for flights? If such an API is not available, do you have any recommendations on how to estimate fuel consumption using the data provided by your other APIs?
Also is there any api which provides the data such as Total number of passenger, fuel avilability,aircraft mass,mass of passengers, and passenger luggage ?

However, I noticed that the FlightAware API provides a field called fuel on board under the position section (as documented here (Firehose (Live Flight Data API) Documentation - FlightAware)).
Could you please clarify what the fuel on board field is supposed to represent? Specifically, I am interested in understanding if this field provides the fuel availability during takeoff and the fuel availability during landing. Any additional details on how to interpret this data would be highly appreciated.
Fuel on board is the quantity of fuel on board at the time of the position report. As mentioned in the documentation, itâs only available for customers authorized to receive it: generally those in support of the operator/with a contract with the operator. If youâre in that situation, please contact customer service for pricing and provisioning.

The only people on this forum who could possibly help you will have âFlightaware Staffâ next to their name. Everyone else here is a volunteer/hobbyist/enthusiast who participates in discussions on the forum and tries to help out where possible.
That said, the person who responded who did have Flightaware Staff next to their name said that you would need to contact Customer Service. I have been a member here since 2019 and have never seen anyone from Customer Service respond to a post or message on this forum, so I feel like itâs very unlikely that you will get your answer through this method. Thatâs just not what this area is for.
