My JetBlue flight was canceled today due to weather. I am trying to find truth in it by also seeing if the plane that was assigned to my flight was delayed prior in the day.
Does FlightAware track a plane’s history like that?

You do, of course, realize that crews swap aircraft all day long. Due to that minor fact, it’s just as likely your crew was stuck or timed out as it would be that the aircraft was hung up some where else. Unless you have the tail number of the aircraft you were going to fly you may get lucky and be able to back track by flight number. Doubtful, though.
I’m curious. Your question implies that you think JetBlue lied to you. You do know that airlines really, really, really don’t like to cancel flights, right?
