I am not sure if Flightaware staff have noticed or other FLIGHTAWARE members have as well. But lately the Qantas QFA flights are coding EAQ Eastern Australian. Why is this happening. for example VH-VZP or VH-XZK B738 Aircraft belonging to Qantas have this call sign. Is there a glitch in the system or a bug some where. This happens with the B744’s such as QFA16 VH-OJU a month back and still happens KLAX-YBBN comes up as EAQ16? can anyone help solve this bug 
I checked today on this nothing comes up of QFA flights with EAQ flight numbers but going back a few weeks in my email alerts this did happen not sure why
