In the Firehose service, is there a way to configure automatic notifications as in the FlightXML 2.0 service?
Since all data in Firehose is delivered as an event message when it occurs, your application just needs to look at the events being received and check the event fields for criteria you are interested in.
Alternatively, you can connect to firehose with an initiation command that is sufficiently narrow to capture just the events you are interested in. For example, only the list of aircraft idents you are interested in.
