If I’m consuming Firehose messages can I assume that the latest message for a flight contains ALL the known data for the flight? Or is it possible that message 1 will have data that is NOT included in message 2 (and I therefore need to build up information over multiple messages)?
Hi Alex, yes it can be assumed that all the known data for a flight is received in the firehose message(such as actual_off, scheduled times, etc.) As the information becomes available, it’ll be populated in the fields. For some clarification, a very clear example is one message contains actual_off but is missing actual_on, assuming the flight is enroute, actual_on will not be populated until the aircraft has landed.
