I imagine that it might be less than the 414 aircraft too as I imagine a number of the ones counted are sitting in the desert and won’t be there in 3 years.

The latest order is one of a lengthy series of steps taken in the last decade to prevent the possible ignition of vapors inside fuel tanks in response to the explosion of TWA Flight 800 off the coast of New York’s Long Island in 1996.

Yep I’d say 13 years is definitely lengthy, especially considering all the 767s which have exploded since then.
