I got these warnings as errors when compiling the flightaware/dump1090 using GCC 15.2.1 20260124 (Red Hat 15.2.1-7). I fixed them, it compiled fine, and seemed to run fine but wanted to throw this out there because the fix could break something that depends on sizeof on the char arrays.
I also faced same error when today morning I compiled dump1090-fa and piaware (faup1090) on Debian 14 Forky (testing) amd64.
