wondering if anybody here or from flightaware staff has in-depth knowledge about the dump1090 options.
using --help shows all of them but some are unclear (e.g. --gain and --gain-control combination) and some are inconsistent (e.g. --fix and --no-fix)
any help appreciated 
I believe the options change depending on which version of dump1090 you are running. Just search the forum for what you’re try to do… This forum has everything. Or post what is your end goal. What are you trying to do? If you want to keep it simple, dump1090-mut has a config script to walk you through the available options.
… just trying to understand first all of them and then use the ones that deliver best results - searching for every single option takes too much time.
but as flightaware stuff is leading a fork of dump1090 - there should be some guys knowing all about the switches …
