Do Drones have to be registered thru FAA? I live in the Mojave Desert, N. Joshua Tree, California. The Flight path is directly over us for - PSP, LAX, and other smaller Airports. There is a noticeable amount of drone activity ranging from 800ft to 4000ft entering airspace/flight paths. Is this legal? I just witnessed a drone at the same height of a commercial airline in route SW to PSP. The drone was on the starbird side from N. traveling towards the A/C starbird side at a fast pace. Is anyone familiar with airspace rules, laws? This isn’t the 1st time I’ve witnessed this odd drone behavior.
