After a storm in which I cut power, my equipment decreased by half the daily amount of aircraft detected and greatly decreased the radius of coverage of the antenna. Check the cable, enter it and restart the equipment several times, take out the filter and put it back without obtaining any results. Any suggestions?
Most likely thing to go bad is actually the power supply.
Power supply is easy to check, swap that first.
Secondly… the dongle itself might got “hit” and the ESD protection damaged. That is right at the RF input and might affect the signal.
PS: It haped recently after a storm to my FlightFeeder - replacing the internal dongle with a spare one that I had around “fixed” it.
