Searching for them on flight aware shows they were last seen more than a decade after 9/11/01.
Why is this?
Commercial flight identifiers like that are assigned by the airline and don’t identify a specific aircraft.

All 4 of these flights were permanently retired. Why would the airline be using them?
It’s not necessarily the airline. There’s limited coordination of callsigns, especially internationally. At the end of the day it’s “whatever got entered in the transponder” most of the time - so essentially any aircraft can claim to be any of the above flights in the data we process, and simple errors (or namespace collisions between different organizations internationally) do happen.
