The sky is quite busy this morning. There are about 350 planes in my view. Here is a part of it.
Busy skies here in central Florida this morning. Currently tracking at 400 aircraft.
How’s business on the left coast?
Shizam. I better get back on the porch and let the big dogs run!
What the heck are you running over there? Turbo charged or supercharged?
Those aren’t all mine. I’m generally limited to a 150 mile radius or less.
( the middle ring above)
That’s something of a relief. I was thinking I was really under performing here.
Me too! I was fixin’ to start drinking again!!
I thought you didn’t get addicted to this hobby, but it seems you’re numbers guy already
I’m just an ADS-B observer. Once I install an RPi, that’s it. I just sit back and watch - no tweaking. I do own a lot of hardware - 3 laptops, 4 PC’s, 8 RPi’s, IoT stuff, WiFi 7 (802.11be) and Ethernet (802.11ab) network hardware. I spend most of my time maintaining software and testing future versions of Windows for Microsoft. I used to do more on the server side, but I’ve slowed down in my twilight years (81).
Ah don’t mention hardware in this house, the head of the house might find a reason to size down
Currently in the inventory:
- 7 PC’s
- 3 Laptops
- 12 Network Attached Storage devices (NAS)
- 6 Tablets
- 25 RPi’s in operation and another 6 in spare
- 3 Accespoints
- 14 network switches ( 2x24, 3x16, 2x8, 7x5 port switches) and 7 in spare
- primary router
- 6 UPS setups
- 7 Security Camera’s
All equipment is connected wired, only exception are mobile devices.
On average 60 active IP adresses in the network at any given time, if all is running at the same time this wil increase to 85-90 depending on what I’m doing at that time.
Oh well a man has to have a hobby I guess
Now I can understand why you’re wearing those glasses professor.
